Galaxy S21 Series : The New S
Latest smartphone by Samsung, the Galaxy S21 Ultra is similar to the Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max. Made for large hands because of big screen size, along with price, the extra camera and weight a notch heavy make these smartphones best suited for people who love technology. This is a typical “more is more” phone, again by Samsung.

Design
Well, first things first the design, we can’t find any significant changes that Samsung has made to the design as compared to its predecessor. The same flat AMOLED display with a punch-hole camera at the centre and again the same triple camera setup remains aboard the Galaxy S21 and S21 Plus. This time the camera module special cut, makes it look more elegant with the metal frame of the devices. There is a frosted haze finish on the back, which offers a contrast to the camera system, and makes the S21 series look beautiful to the eyes.
For the Galaxy S21 Ultra, the cameras changes from 3 to 4 now, hence quad camera setup. The display is a bit different too, instead of flat, it is curved on both edges.
Both the phones are having Gorilla Glass Victus protection, and the sweet part is it’s not just on the front, but the back too, sounds pretty solid here.
Display
The Galaxy S21 series houses a 120Hz AMOLED in it, with minimal differences in size and resolution. The Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+ includes 6.2-inch and 6.7-inch Full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen panels respectively. The screen display comes with an awesome 2400 x 1080-pixel resolution, and that’s not all, there’s adaptive refresh rate too.
Now, comes the big brother, Galaxy S21+ contains 6.8-inch WQHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. Again, the display has a 120Hz refresh rate which is of course adaptive, with 3200 x 1440-pixel resolution, resulting in 515ppi pixel density. According to Samsung there is 50% more contrast, 100% color volume, and Eye Comfort Shield support in the plus version.
Processor
Here comes the typical Samsung decision of using not one but two processor manufacturers in the flagship series. Yeah, you guessed it right, the Snapdragon 888 and the in-house Exynos 2100. Ofcourse the availability of these is market specific, some markets being catered with the dragon and others with the Exynos. As per the latest trend, both are 5G compatible.
Cameras
Both the younger siblings here offer the same camera setup, whereas the biggest one i.e. Ultra has a Quad camera system. The triple cameras houses a 12MP (f/1.8) primary camera, 12MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide camera and a 120-degree FOV, and a 64MP telephoto camera with 3x hybrid optical zoom support. Interestingly, the primary and telephoto lens camera got the OIS.
The Ultra has a massive 108MP primary camera, with OIS, Laser AF, & PDAF. The other 3 are 12MP ultra-wide lens with 120-degree FOV, and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 10MP periscope camera with 10x optical zoom support. Well Samsung has gone with some serious stability here as the both the telephoto cameras are optically stabilized.
Battery
The S21 houses a 4000 mAh brick, while the S21+ comes with more juice with 4800mAh, and the Ultra gets the biggest of them all, a 5000 mAh power.
Interestingly, every single variant supports 25W wired fast charging and the 15W fast in wireless and features Samsung’s Wireless PowerShare.
A Special Feature
The S21 Ultra comes with an inherited feature from the Note series, yeah, you guessed it right, the Galaxy S series has now started supporting S-Pen, starting with the S21 Ultra only for now.
Pricing and Availability
The S21 starts at ₹69,999, the S21 Plus at ₹81,999 and the Ultra for ₹1,05,999
